Jack AI Customer Experience Snapshot

Cory delivers exceptional steelhead fishing experiences on the Brule and Milwaukee Rivers, consistently finding fish when others can't. Customers praise his expertise in reading water, teaching various angling techniques, and explaining the reasoning behind different rod setups and presentations. Even experienced anglers who've fished the Brule for 15+ years report their best trips ever with Cory, learning new methods and landing impressive catches throughout 5-hour adventures. Customers consistently describe Cory as passionate, patient, and genuinely invested in their success on the water. He's particularly noted for his work with veterans through Wounded Warrior Project events, often refusing tips and providing gear bags and shirts. Parents appreciate how great he is with kids, while beginners value his educational approach and willingness to re-tie lines with a smile no matter how many snags occur. Fellow guides regularly recommend Cory and partner with him on special events.

Trip - Brule River Salmon and Trout Run on October 3, 2026

Our trip was a family trip of a husband, wife, and 13 yr old daughter. Cory is very professional, was on time, knowledgeable, patient, very helpful, insightful, and worked hard for us. We landed a brown and a steelhead. If you are considering hiring a guide, he should be on top of your list.

Trip - Brule River Trophy Waters on September 21, 2026

This is our second year with Cory as a guide. We had an excellent time! He just always goes beyond expectations with his pre and post communication, suggestions, preparedness, and finding us great spots to fish! I caught my first salmon this week!

He is also well prepared and very engaging on anything in the outdoors sports. This guy lives his passion. You be fortunate to have him guide you.

Trip - Brule River Salmon and Trout Run on October 1, 2024

Corey was awesome!! Reason for my booking was 100% educational - I wanted the how's and why's. Told that to Cory ahead of trip and that catching fish was secondary (maybe even tertiary) to that. He really delivered - from his set-ups and reasons for the various rods, to techinques, reading water, and details about the various presentations we offered. He is an awesome resource, patient teacher, and a great guy to spend time with on the water (and fish to boot). In summary, a great day. Highly recommend.
